Administrative Assistant's Day
So today was Administrative Assistant's Day. I made a pair of customized framed art pieces for my husband's secretaries. It was hard to give them away. I used my Cricut Cutter to spell out their names and I glittered the centers. I then selected a word that best describes them using each letter of their name. So here is a close-up of one of the letters.

Earth Day
Abraham and I had some homework to do. We got up early in the morning and made this awesome poster in honor of Earth Day. We used a lot of old craft supplies I had in my art room. We had a great time brainstorming what to put on it.

Have you gotten pinked today?
Have you gotten pinked today? I made these yummy strawberry cupcakes and decorated them with these adorable pink pig toppers. I had so much fun making them but not as much as I did eating them.

Card making again

So I got bit by the stamp bug again! I dusted off my inks and markers. I whipped out a new stamp set and made this cute card for a friend. Wow! It sure felt good to stamp again.

Girls Weekend
What a weekend! This weekend we gathered at Steph's house to let our creative juices flow. Look what we came up with. Sandy made an amazing shrine with her version of of Earth and Hell below. Amazing! Steph made a shrine to honor the dead. Check out the detail. I love it because evertime I look at it, there is something new I missed before. Joanne made a very inspiring shrine devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. She hand painted every single star. Kathy, well lets just say she never ceaces to amaze us. She made a shrine to honor her good friend Totem. Totem was her dog. He left us this year and we all miss him. So, Kathy painted a portrait of her pooch and put wings on him. I love the vivid colors she used. We had and amazing weekend! My box is dedicated to the metamorphasis I have gone through in the past 5 years. The discovery of self worth, a new path for me to follow. A new love of life that has been discovered just recently and the importance of FRIENDS. Every shrine was carefully detailed with love and that's what makes them so unique. Thanks Ya Yas, I had a magical weekend!

Got Bling?

I heard about this magnificent little shop in Berkeley that had these unique German Glass Glitters. I had to have these even though I haven't thought of what to use the on. I'm sure I will come up with something.
